Sony Digicam users, face this problem?

Juz now was at the NDP preview snapping away like crazy.

True to wad a brudder said, I was out of juice when I juz took abt 78 photos. However, I continued snapping till both Cybershot stamina AA batts died completely on me.

I noticed that the battery compartment and the batteries were quite HOT.

Some bad things gonna happen?

And I noticed yesterday that regular alkaline AA batteries like Energizer and Eveready die out pretty fast

i experience the hotness too after about 100+ shots ... i guess it's a problem faced by most digi cam .. not just sony.

Hmm... ic. I'm kinda worried my digicam would die on me or wad. Bought it for less den 1/2yr only. Yesterday at NDP was the most intensive shooting session of my life. The batt actually died out before my Memory Stick ran outta space.
