Default New to photography.

This road, I walk alone.
I would like to know the overall feel about this picture.
I feel that this picture tells us about the journey of life,
And there is really no one that we can really trust,
On this journey,
There is really nothing that we can ever hold on to when we trip and fall.
No one is reliable enough.

C&C wanted. Thanks!

Please read the Critique Corner guidelines. As a new member, it's a good idea to read the forum rules.
Thank you very much.

i feel that the wide angle distortion is too much at the wire post (?), maybe you can editing the distortion, it will help your photo look more foward and straight.

Was the original picture taken in colour?
I was expecting blue skies, green leaves, black and white stone textures wooden colours and maybe some rust... geezz... this is what I had preferred lah... the foreground is too dark for my preference.

Come to think of it,
yes that is what i prefer, but it would show too much colours,
it would be quite distracting isn't it?

Haha, thanks i will work on it.

its kinda unappealing i must say.
love the mood there but theres not much interest from the pic.

if you put a subject, a girl carrying a balloon, or a bride then it would spice things up

Since when too much colours would make any photograph distracting?

That what i think.
Sometimes,
it would be too tiring for the eyes and you would want to look at black and white pictures instead of coloured pictures.
It's my own preferences, i hope you understand.

B&W are used usually in portraits as to eliminate the colors as they can be considered 'distractions' and to bring out the emotions of the subject. For the photo you can try those ps plugins and play around with them maybe give the image a vintage feel? Like what others mentioned too much foreground for me too considering there is no subject unless the subject is the rail...

Its okay, I hope you don't get disheartened by the feedbacks.
Take it in your strides and learn thru them.
Afterall, thats the purpose of it ultimately right?

Keep shooting

Opposite DSTA.
Red hill area.

I had a hard time getting down. The slope was rather steep.
Hahaha.

ohh i know that place

hmm... 'ok' attempt but like the others said, it needs a subject. Its great on its own, say if you want to print it as a card cover and print some words on it... but as a stand-alone photograph, needs something to give some 'impact'.

good attempt and keep shooting!
