First 3 shot were cut off with close crop . . . otherwise would be winning one . . .

I agree...pity about the cropping. Each shots would have completed the whole "story" Pity. I hope you managed to get more shot which did not suffer due to cropping.
The timing and duration are spot on. Thei thing about shooting firework, for me, the first minute or two is crucial. A part from limitation of what wide lens I brought to get the widest shot....other factors comes into play. Thing like my heart starts beating with excitment when the firework starts, watch the display as you try to predict when to fire your shutter and the pressure to do a few things at the same time due to the short time to get as many shots, we tend to over looked sometime recomposing the focal point as adjustment tend to take time and we are afraid we might lose a special shot at the wrong time. Nevertheless you got a few good shots in. |

Thanks alot! noted. True indeed, fireworks are really unpredictable ! A must take for first few fireworks before the smoke gets thicker.
