Get the D300, you can use back your current lenses unless your tired or not happy with nikon dslrs then by all means switch to other brands.

Agreed! Go for D300. Thats the optimal choice.

If you already have Nikon lenses, then the D300 makes more sense. But a cheaper option would be the A700. And they share the same sensor anyway.

you have 2 very good lens and a darn decent camera body, in my opinion.
Any reason why you wanna change camera bodies? Has your D60 disappointed you in any way?
or u just infected with the BBB virus? Kena 4D/Toto/winfall bonus?

if there is a reason why ts want to change...probably due to be screw by nikon by buying a screwless body

for those nikon fanboys..D300 is not any better than the A700.
dun flame me..as i shoot with both and i can atest to that D300 can also screw up also..it not omnipotent

    To TS
keep to yr nikon since u already had the nikon lenses
nikon had very nice flash system and v afforable FF.
it doesn't make sense for u to change system unless there a special reason for it

thanx all... actually i am a dilema as few of my frens are using the sony system...
the D60 is serving me well... but i wanna try the nikkor primes with auto focus...
    eg.. 10.5mm and 50mm primes...
so i am able to get a better body or system... i'm just thinkin of these two currently...
