The burst speed seems to have decreased slightly. From 6.5 in 40D to 6.3

But what i dont like is that Canon's still retaining the 9 pt AF system when the D300 has more

more doesn't mean better.

dpreview's testing shows that 40D never actually gets up to 6.5 anyway.

Wonder how accurate this is. I have not found a screen cap of the original page in Chinese. Might be someone pulling a practical joke.

More could mean better tracking with AI Servo.

true. but i would think a dedicated machine like the 1 series will be more suitable for serious sports shooters.

From Internet postings here and dpreview, apparently everyone feels that we should get pro features for 40D prices Actually I was thinking more for nature / BIF, and a 1.6 crop sensor has some advantage over FF or 1.3x. Still, I agree about paying for the performance you need.

everyone will always want more than what they pay for. thats pretty much human nature. i don't mind getting a 1Ds Mk3 for the price of a 1000D.

as long as it allows u to nail the shot, then its the right camera.

We need a "head growing bigger and bigger then blowing up" emoticon.

I didn't find this rumor on the Northlight images rumors website. Probably a time zone thing...

Perhaps it's a marketing ploy?

FYI, I did one better. Travelled 2 years 6 months 13 hours 58 mins 42 secs into the future and gave the 60D, 5D MK3, 1DS MK5, 600D and 3000D a go. Did I mention about the 14-1200 f0.95 IS USM L DO lens? That's all I can tell.
