Does this type of diffuser remove shadows behind insects?
Will this type of diffuser help reduce the shadows?
 I used 420Ex for this photo.. but dun like the shadow..  |

No, it won't. It MIGHT soften the shadow a LITTLE.

you probably need 2 of this near the side of the lens to achieve no-shadow or little shadow

If you are shooting macro, use a ring lite.
