Better to get the genuine Canon one, BG-E2N in this case. Third party ones might save you money but they can also fry the circuitry in the camera.

Yes yes yes. Canon BG-E2 (N or Non N) grips are all suitable.

BGE2 is the old version with no moisture sealing

The price for the BG-E2 is probably outdated and the product is not in production anymore.
Just get the BG-E2N if you need a grip. My bro is happy with his 30D & BG-E2N. ![]()

Because they stopped selling the old one. And since stoped selling, the list not updated, and thus, old price sticks..

will a BG-E2 work on a 40D? Cos there's one selling for a pretty decent price now on classifieds and may consider grabbing it. |
