Hi all,
Recently starting exploring still life / product shots.. Any tips on improving the lighting / composition / reflections? Shot in a self made tent with 2 constant tungsten lights. PSed on WB and sharpness. ![]() Large image link here |

i tink there's too much space, the heart is not given much attention. i'm not really good at this but i tink the composition can go tighter imo

Hi Redsun, I've actually, used half an extention tube to get closer, but i didnt wanna leave out the other details like the chain as i feel it should show if its to be recognized as a necklace. There are also some details on the chain.. Only made the pendent as the focal point and the rest in bokeh.
Would a close up of just the pendent be better? Cheers! |
