Definitely not the latest release, as there's no mention of the 200mm f/2 lens.

Aahhh..... after downloading..... now found out its the same book had when I got my 400D

Canon v clever, give this book out for free when buying a canon dslr to POISON all of us... ha ha..... but seriously though it is a v good book packed with info including MTF, explanations about macro, technical explanations of USM, IS etc. Worth a read definitely.

I'm waiting for the IV version to be released.
