Hi all, just a simple heads up. I use my photos mainly for web-purposes, sometimes the occasional print out but nothing commercial so I shoot in Jpeg large fine. Problem is that on the Windows Viewer and the Thumnail files, the picture looks file, but the moment i open my Photoshop, the Red hues are down by about -20, hence the photo always looks very green, not very flattering on the human's skin.
If i am going to upload it to my website, I should follow the colour scheme on my windows viewer right? Anyone experiencing the same problem, please help. Thank you. |

I suggest you take a look at this post: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=19310201
That fixed the same problem I faced long ago. ![]()

After fiddling with the settings - I still can't seem to work it out right.
When I double click on the picture file and open with windows view / view any photo on a website, the colour profile will differ from that of my Adobe Photoshop CS2. I am currently shooting sRGB, not adobe RGB. The photos will always appear less RED on CS2 in comparison, please advice brosS |

Try to remove all the color profiles under Color Management for your display. See if it makes a difference. I just tested that and it works.

Use Picasa2. The colour profile for that photo viewer is somewhat more pleasant to view
