Anyone mod your Canon PnS with CDHK firmware to shoot RAW?

I want to know if anyone has tried and has comments to share.

Sounds interesting. I may want to try it on my S2IS.

Yep tried on Ixus 65 why? I dunno really know how to use it so

can shoot RAW, battery indicator (how can Canon not have this ?!?), more options, scripts etc...
a must try...since it is so easy to load no harm giving it a try...

i bought a 2GB SD card, did the hack.

most used function are the long exposures and rAW

Is the mod a permanent effect? Or it will be loaded into camera ram temporarily when one uses the sd card with the hack software?

It's not a mod actually. It only loads itself onto your camera ram upon startup when you use the SD card with the chdk software.
