Question Enquiries on C750

Hi,

I'm intending to upgrade my digicam to either Fuji S602Z or Olympus C750 by end of this year. However, I was attracted by the features of 750UZ for its 10X optical zoom, hotshoe, 4MP resolution and etc. Hence would like to know the additional price to be incurred on buying the following accessories:

External Flash
Len adaptor
UV filter
Polarizer
Color filters
........

Can someone please advise? Thanks.

Hi
ME also a 750 user,
Currently also looking for external flash to use on this camera, it's a headace to me cos in the manul it state that some of the flash can cos the camera to go heaven ha..ha.. so u have to be very carful of what and which type of flash to use, as for the orginal flash the olypmus FL-40 wah, $600~$700, FL-20 $150~$200
very unafforable to me la, so still searching... ... ...
Other than this everything works fine to me, for the lens adaptor u can but the CLA-4 olypmus adaptor, which cost ard $30 to $35 with a thread frm 46.5mm to 55mm
so u can use other 55mm lens or just buy some step dwn ring, but try not to step dwn too much or well currenetly I step dwn to 52mm which have a bit of vgenetting but u can just zoom in abit and wah la, it disappear

External Flash- searching
Len adaptor- easy, buy CLA-4
UV filter- can buy those 3rd party, eg 55mm Hoya brand
Polarizer- can buy those 3rd party, eg 55mm Hoya brand
Color filters- can buy those 3rd party, eg 55mm Hoya brand
Cheers

Hi jasonwcs,

Thanks for your prompt reply. So, beside the item which I had mentioned, what other accessories had you bought? And overall, how much had you spent on the accessories along?

Cheers.

think if you get...
1) 750 + xd card (256)
or
2) 602 + CF card (256)

diff in px not very great....
must consider the fact that usually zoom after 6X is quite diff to use, normal ppl will need a tripod for it... of course a 10X zoom will come in handy sometimes...
3 and 4 mega pix not much of a diff unless you wanna print A4 size or bigger...
overall image quality of 602 is still better than 750 of course it depends on individual skills too...

correct me if i am wrong..

Heard that a new fuji model with 10x zoom is coming soon. Why not wait for it and decide ?

well, money spend is less than $500 I would said cos the TC & WC lens is not that ex lor, but u might consider to buy a higer memory card as u need it more than any item.
U dn't need much accessories in this camera as almost everything is intact with a camera, well there is an dis advantage if u use a Wide angle lens as the other end of the lens have a MUCH BIGGER diameter, so u might have a dark imagine at the bottom of the picture when ur Wide angle lens is attach & used with ur built in flash, so u might consider a TTL external flash to be use lor, so this item may cost u abit more.
