USB TWAIN driver for Canon digital cameras....

hi all, I am wondering if any of you tried connect your Canon digital camera and use it like a webcam for the PC? Can you control your digital camera through windows?

I searched through the web, seems like Canon has the widest range of digital camera that's able to support such activity. Is it because Canon cameras are all using the same chips?
