I would be happy to beat them by one goal in both games. That would be a fantastic result. Why one goal? Not to say manu are great, but both are good teams, so to really trash them would definitely be a bonus. So humble abit, one goal win is fine for both games. Hehehe

wow...i really enjoyed the game. fast flowing and pretty crisp passing, penetrating villareal defence at will. and it went all almost throughout the 90mins!

can we do this again with our next opponent?

tough matches ahead, hope there is enough strength in depth in defense.

The next 2 games will be exciting ... meeting Chelsea for the FA Cup semis @ home this weekend and playing Liverpool @ Anfield in mid-week.

    Mouth-watering encounters! Go Gunners!

what a way to concede 2 soft goals...
    god damn pissed...
i hate to say it but this new chelsea team is way fitter than arsenal and changes formation from time in order to time to cope with the opposition.
but mr wenger seldom change his system of play...

    Okay, it ended 4-4.

Our Russian Tank scored 4 today. 4 Fantastic goals!

I am sure that he will be an asset even more next season.

our defence damn jiat lat, anyhow clearing the ball left and right. fabianski's performance was a lot better than sat's, just let down by the back 4. worse was let them equalize in injury time.

on the very bright side though arshavin is looking to be a very good buy. he had a rather sleepy first half although he got a goal. but second half he came to life. watch already feel damn shiok.

overall it was a game worth watching - frustrating yet entertaining all the way to the end.

The last canon from the massive tank is real solid football.... price well-paid. Kind of miss such superior striking power ever since Henry left...

I salute those Gunners fans who are about to watch the game at the Devil's Den in Boat Quay this morning! Yes, there's a group of them who will watch the game with their away jerseys, at the local devils fans home base. Might see them on the papers tomorrow, and hopefully for the right reasons. Hehe

    MARCH ON, GUNNERS!!!

We lost the game with a single goal; pretty good IMO especially when we're under-strength. Let's hope for a fantastic response when we meet @ the Emirates.

We come all this way and I know AW and the lads aren't going to give up like this!

    Go Gunners!

Good luck to your team...if you attack them, you'll score loads of goals...they have weak defence...arsenal got good fast strikers... looking forward to your return match though i didnt watch the game this morning...pity ashavin cant play

Hmmm, I view having the tie at Emirates quite pessimistically, if they scored just one goal, we need to score three.

The goal they let in, was pathetic...where was the defensive cover. I hope the Gunners go on more attack next home game.

Looking forward, I still hope AW will import some new faces in defence and holding midfield positions; you can accuse me of being biased but I'd love to see more English faces ...

IMO, though Silvestre has wealth of experience to share with the lads, I just feel he's past his prime and can no longer perform competently at this high level ... he's too error-prone ...

Finally the match which will define our season ... if we win, it'll probably prove AW principled approach has finally bore fruit and maybe we can look forward to see our potential unleashed in the following season(s) ...

If we were knocked out by Man U, it'll probably continue to show that we may have tons of potential but we will always be pretenders to the title, be it BPL or ECL ...

Sorry for speaking out loud but the tide now seems to favor Man U ... which I'd love to be corrected by the results later at The Emirates ...

For what is worth ... Go Gunners!

    Hi again.

I guess we've heard the news ... for me it's sad, not just because we lost the game but it's how we've lost it.

I really hope this will serve as a wake-up call for AW ... if he really wants to start taking silverwares back to the Emirates, he just couldn't stick to his purist, 'youthful' approach ... just take a look at top teams like Man U and Chelsea.

I guess for now, the least they can do for the remaing matches is to play their best for the us, the fans ...

Well looking at the bright side, I'm glad we've mananged to clinch the ECL-playoff spot and sign Arshavin who seems to have loads of potential (and even goals!).

Sigh, another season gone. The only thing we could possibly contribute now is to act as spoilers to the BPL title.
