heartstopping 91st min. Luckily saved shot from Modric

looks like heading for a painful draw...our team skill standards drop to spurs level.

Sheesh ... I guess right now we just need to focus on securing the 4th place ...

Looking ahead, i.e. next season I have to confess I can't see a breakthrough if this keeps up ...

i think aston villa may even get the 4th spot come end of the season if we continue to drop any more points.
most arsenal fans have had enough of eboue already, hope AW can sell him off once the transfer window opens.
too many poor performance this season from him already...

what can i say....2 acts of eboue stupidity. the first had nothing to do with him and he and to talk himself into the book. the second he already got the freekick. why lash out? all this at the expense of the team.

his time at arsenal is up.

Honestly, i was quite impressed with ebuoe when he first arrived at Arsenal, i thought he was rather speedy and hardworking. This season, he is damn clueless...

sometimes i feel he runs around like a headless chicken...to the extent of switching flanks with nasri...and his runs is bloody confusing.
thinks ade also cannot understand his intentions at times.

eboue started off quite well i thought, making pretty good runs and scoring the goal that was later disallowed. it went downhill for him from then on.

one problem about switching flanks constantly or inter-changing positions is the tenancy to forget the very basic of football, that's positional sense.

with good positional sense, even when being caught out in counter attack, so long as you don't play high up in the field, you are still in a position to break down the attack.

but without a defensive midfielder to shield the back four this season, full backs who went up to support the attack are caught out of position constantly with old sch flying wingers, no matter how pacy the fullbacks are if the winger is also pacy and is in a better attacking position, the risk of getting caught out is very high.

sometimes the center backs also get caught out in position when they push up to take a long shot.

i think without a defensive midfielder this season and in order to counter this problem, arsenal has been playing higher up the field when they are chasing a game in the 2nd half.
and in certain games, they get caught out with the counter attack sucker punch...results in points being drop.

the fullbacks are good in their one on one challenges but the center backs seems slower to react this season at point blank range.

marking wise, AW prefers zonal marking so as to promote more attacking intent in his team so man marking during set pieces have suffer as a result of this attack-orientated system.
the center backs seems to lose their touch with man marking as well...

but what i like about them is that they remain the only team capable of beating man u while playing the same style of football.

Our season is over! Clinching the #4 spot is our only goal now.
If we dont get this, I bet Fabregas, Gallas, Ade, Persie will all want to leave.
The sooner you get it, the longer you enjoy it.

It's a great game against Cardiff and I'm so happy for Eduardo's comeback! It's like having a new signing! Let's hope this is the beginning of good things to come!

4-0!!! i miss this scoreline so much could have been more if not for their keeper and the woodwork. most lively performance i have seen from the team in recent weeks.
