Default Mini - Softbox/Diffuser DIY

Okay...here is a shorttutorial showing how you could make a diffuser that performs as good as the Lambency/Lightsphere....probabaly suited for home use unless you want to have the "diffuser" as you walk around.

Material:
NTUC Ice-cream box

1) Get an Ice cream box as shown - you probablay need to get friends or
family to finish the tub.

2) Then Cut a "H" figure based on the width and height of the flash head to be used.

3) test Fit your flash and adjust accordingly.

4) For some flahses heads, there are some mounting hooks/features.
Cut accordingly on the box to fit.

5) Finally a side by side comparison of result...

Well as you can see, the ice-cream Box does wonders!!!

Imagine a 'tan chiak' photographer using an ice-cream box as a flash diffuser on your wedding day. That will be his last wedding assignment.

By the way, try using the Grand Opulence Sundae box as a diffuser. The ice-cream itself can buy at least 10 Gary Fong's WhaleTails.

you can probably paste some aluminium foil at the inside of the cover and use it to reflect more light in front

Get a couple of this for slave flashes and it coud probably work wonders.

Don't use NTUC ice cream box.
