Some shots taken with my EOS20D and G9 at P. Redang during the June school holidays. Comments are welcome.

redang can never let anyone down.
love the 2nd and 3rd pic the most, guess you used the G9 with ND filter on for the former? very surreal look, maybe a tweak in contrast will make it much better |

Thx for sharing ur travel shots
![]() Love the colors in #2,3! very calm and soothing I thought #4 might benefit from a tighter crop, the sun and the little hills look interesting The pictures look slightly soft as well, might be good to have a little sharpening applied. Ryan |

Hi folks...
Thanks for the comments. The photos look sharp on my screen. Seem to be a bit soft after resizing and saving over in PS. Guess I need to polish up my image processing skills. Yes, Redang is indeed a wonderful holiday destination. Right at our doorstep too. Many people would stay at the main beach area with the luxurous hotels. If you are adventurous, I would recommend the Mutiara Resort on the more remote side of the island which offers chalet type accommodations. The local Malay staff and guides are really friendly. They know the best kept secret locations for snorkeling. My 5-year old son who can't even swim was snorkeling in the open sea. It was a wonderful experience for the family. |
