    Default nikon warranty need recieept?

    i have the warranty cards for my d70 and 50mm 1.8 but i don't have the reciept can i still go for servicing? and cleaning up

    the warranty applies for 1 year from date of purchase as reflected on the receipt, so you need the warranty card + receipt.

    you can do a CCD cleaning of yoru D70 during the warranty period. depending on what kind of servicing and cleaning up, you may need to pay as warranty does not cover everything.

    the best is to call NSC to check...

    Related question; does NSC limit the number of free sensor cleanings within the warranty period?

    from what i know,u can go clean it everyday till the last day of ur warranty period..

    Nope... u can send it in as many times for free sensor cleaning... as long as under warranty
