what are the chances that when you walk by a poster with a mother and child and a mother and child sits in front of the poster ?
and so many of his street shots.. a lot of parallels drawn which are very impressive, and i still attribute it to luck. it's not luck that took the photo yes it's observance but it's luck that put that composition there for him to notice it..

I can still remember very clearly one shot I did not take because I did not have a camera with me. There was a platoon of sweaty NS boys in full battle order, all sitting on the grass after a long route march. Behind them, a monk in yellow robes was walking past. It was early in the morning, and the sun's rays were low and dramatic, creating a nice backlight. And no camera. |
