Sigma 2X teleconverter

Will a Sigma 2X teleconverter fit into my Canon EOS 450D body and EFS 100-400mm IS lens?
Will any make (tamron, cosina etc) teleconverter for that matter fit the camera and lens?

you'll have to buy the one that fits canon AF... however the 100-400mm is 5.6 lens... when u mount it to a 2x TC the camera wont focus.

Sigma follows the same design as canon, they've got this protruding element that will only fit tele lenses. i think tokina or teleplus can fit almost any lens, i.e without that protruding bit.

i'm using the sigma 2x EX APO its not bad..but ur AF will very really affected.. i use it on a 200m 2.8

and i dont think ur 100-400 is an EF-S lens... i think u are talking abt the EF100-400 L?
