Default Tangshooters - National Day Sunset @ Changi Boardwalk

Raining very heavily but few buddies took the chance and hope for the best... While ppl are watching NDP, here we r with the harvest of a national day sunset.

After the rain... with a slight drizzle...

A glimpse of the yolk... 2 minute appearance in the small gap...

Let there be fire!

Last few from me...

Long exposure #1 - Never bring tripod so put on the wooden rails to support. Can see its not sharp...

Michael see sunset... Taken with pop up flash...

Long exposure #2 - Really hard to compose without a tripod...

like the first shot posted here, careful cropping for greater symmetry (since that seems to be the key theme here) with the end point breaking the monotony of just plain symmetry.. and also exclusion of those little bits and pieces at the top left and right corner (either leave a whole solid bar in, or crop so that you get sky at the edge) would be better, i feel.

Noted... Composing at the actual scene have tried the best. Cropping might be the best solution to this. Sometimes its hard to get the perfect symettry coz if u notice, the scenes outside the left railings and the right railings are totally not the same. Objective in this scene was the symmetry in the railings and to capture the reflections on the ground after rain

it is always hard to get exact symmetry in actual scene, i agree.. which is why i said.. cropping afterward..

i like the resulting treatment anyways.
