Thread: Exposure value stuck?

    Default Exposure value stuck?

Hihi can a fellow user help me out? I hope this is a user issue. Just received my 40D 2 days ago and was playing around with the settings. Switched the exposure to +1 value in Program mode and never managed to revert it back to 0 again. Before shooting, I'm able to turn the dial to 0 or any other values but the moment full settings is displayed, it's stuck at +1 again. Well, the camera swung and hit the bookshelf once so I was wondering if that did affect. Being a female and first time DSLR user, I find this camera way too heavy and large for my already-sprained fingers.

    Thanks in advanced.

Hi, check if your rear control dial is set to the on position.

I guess I had it at the 'leg' mode. Tried going ON, same case.
