For me, go down to the shop. Try each one then decide. All of them are good. Only you would know which one you'll really like.

Lens wise, I think any brand would offer competitive lenses.

Weather proof wise, I dunno. I didn't plan to shoot in the rain.

    Good luck.

For weather camera, do we still need to put inside the dry box?
Which of the camera has better dynamic range?

Actually...all these weather proofing thingy... I tot in humid places like Sg, not sure if water proofing allows moisture to escape out of the cam's innards especially when there's condensation moving from cold a/c environment to humid outdoors.

Weatherproofing is rated - e.g. the E-3 is rated weatherproofed for heavy downpour for not longer than 90 minutes, any longer than that and moisture may seep through the seals.

Now the purpose of a dry box is a totally different thing altogether. It prevents fungus and mildew from growing in your camera and lenses.

So for K20D, what is the rating?

Not sure on that one, I haven't really read through the detailed specs/white paper on the K20D yet.

First DSLR? Do you have any SLR (film) before? If yes, just continue with the brand. If no, anything will do, since there is no guarantee that you will be faithful to this hobby
