Thread: Block to Block

    Default Block to Block

    firstly i admit that my title sucks. i couldnt think of anything better.

    400d with 8mm peleng, +2 0 -2 hdr + convert to black and white

    okay so i was walking about the neighborhood and went up this block to the top floor. wanted to get a nice vantage point cause the sky that day was particularly "clean". Walking up to the top floor i saw this scene and thought it was interesting cause i've nvr seen this opening before. It kinda reflects the space that we have in this city and cramp life - not alot.

    Right outside our windows and doorstep we see block after block and it seem infinite. It shows the type of environment we live in, constraint and packed, spending most of our lives between few walls, a floor and a ceiling.

    Got a similar shot long time back in my flickr ;

    ..and had self critic about the same compo - that it could have been better if the block in front is shorter so that we can see the other blocks behind. Otherwise good use of the grids 3 parts vertical, 3 parts horizontal.

    1- you can - get to a higher level lorh...
    2- divide the photo into 3 vertical lengths and 3 horizontal lengths; there you get what I mean.
