Sigma 50-150 vs Tokina 50-135 for Canon

So I want to get a tele zoom to compliment my Tamron 17-50, and I'm torn between these two lenses. Search doesn't really bring up very many results with user impressions and I want to get some input from CS.

How useful is the tripod mount on the Tokina, and will it get in the way when handholding?

Tokina lacks HSM/USM style AF, big drawback?

Sigma front-focus issue, how bad is it? Is it batch by batch or individual lenses that are more likely to have the problem?

135mm vs 150mm... how big of a difference?
