tamron 28-75 and 10-24

Anyones noes the diff btwn the new version and the old one of 28-75 2.8?

and is the 10-24 out yet in sg?

I'm not sure whether i'm referring to the new and old versions but i know i'm talking about 2 different versions of the 28-75. well, the one i have is made in japan and the aperture ring has a softer click compared to another version which my friend has which is made in china and has a sharper clicking sound for the apeture ring. I believe the one i have is much older than his. Both are around the same in terms of IQ when i did a quick comparison.
