I need help as I got problem using the Canon Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software on my iMac OS X 10.5.4.

Every time when the EOS utility has completed downloading my photos onto my iMac, the DPP software automatically activates but it just messaged that there is an error and need to relaunch. After relaunch, I tried going to preference setting or opening picture folders and it will indicate an error message and will just close DPP.

I tried reinstalling the solution disk that came with the EOS 450D but to no avail. Canon support even sent me their latest Solution Disc Ver. 18.0 to try but the same problem occurs. The support staff asked me to seek help from Apple as they claimed that they got no issues on their Mac and it could be my iMac problem. Can someone help me solve this problem with the DPP software? The rest of the software like image browser is ok.
