Default help needed on 2100uz

just got myself a uz from one of the member here.
i'm running window xp and realise it does communicate with the uz. it does reconize the uz but it does not communicate for download of photos. anyone can help??????

Can you explain in details how it does not communicate for download of photos?

usually when you plug your cam in, it will auto detect and you can start downloading into the folder. i usually don install the bundle software that come with the cam. but for the uz, i don seems to be able to do it.

this cam came just b4 the Mass Storage USB was used... first oly cam is 2040 I think

Did you install the Camedia master s/w that comes with the camera???? You have to if not you can't d/l anything; and you'll have to launch the program manually...it won't auto-d/l when you plug in.

By the way. who's the previous owner of the C-2100UZ...I might need to delete his name from the Olympian list.

either install the s/w or use a card reader
