Hi, decided to consolidate all my wedding shots in this thread, hoping to get some serious critiques from you guys. please help me improve

Composition is not very good. The white balance is out most of the time. I also see some soft effect in it but it does not seem right at all. The focus is sometimes out of focus. I think you need to improve at the composition and in the case of wedding photography, i recommend you use 35mm and 85mm lens for a start. As for the white balance, i know it is hard to capture sometimes due to some difficult lighting, you can try use raw file so you can adjust later. Sori I am abit straight forward but i hope this really help you to progress. Look at some of the professional work from Jonathan Ho , Stephen Loh , Kelvin Ho etc...

no prob bro, what i really need is comments like yours, so that i can really improve. your pointers are noted. and yah, i did get the 85mm, but hasnt got any chance to use it(too lazy to change lens). i will try use it in my next assignment.

cheers! Hope to see more of your work. A famous photographers once told me that you dont have to be the best but be your best of your past. I think what he said is right and keep on improving within ourself first before we compete with the best.

Yes, for sure i will keep on improving. and i will keep that word of the famous photog in mind.

Lazy is not an excuse, dun try but must do it.

If not you will never improve.

try to be second photographer or be ur friends free second photographer,then just use one prime lens like 35mm and without flash using..then u will learn n understand ur equitment and ur weak point...i still trying it now...feel still useful...
