Hi,
Just a question. ![]() With the 85/f1.8 and +4 closeup, what is the minimum focusing distance between the subject and your lens? For the 85mm f1.8 lens bare, the min focusing distance is 85cm. I assume that it is a Nikkor telephoto AF lens. Thanks for your input, in advance. Regards, Jason |

Pic with flower for me...
Anyway, is it a 1:1 or a cropped image that you have there? |

Thanks guys
![]() And the longer the focal length you go the shallower the DOF and the poorer the image quality.
And im using canon ![]() im not sure if its a 1:1 thou. how do you calculate that? ![]() |

Thanks for the info.
![]() Sorry for making the wrong assumption. I have a Nikkor 50/f1.4 and +3 closeup. N or C or whatever, it does not matter. as long as we photography ...Will try to get closeup for my 85/f1.8 and post some photos. Nice pics. |

yeap.. it does mean u can get much closer to ur subject...wat i understand also is that if u attached it to ur wide lens u can get more background.. thats why pple use close up filter instead of relying just on the macro lens... did u get ur close up filter locally? how much did u got for this? care to share?
