Lens Hood HB-45 for Nikon D60 Kit Lens

i went through every page of the nikon equipment section and did not find any discussion on this. does anyone know where i can get a lens hood for the d60 kit lens in singapore and what the price is like. it is not listed on the nikon sgp website and doesn't show up in any online searches apart from in other countries.

You can try CP, Lords or TCW.

thanks will check it out. any reason why this third party extendable hood would not be feasible?

Because if the hood is too long, then the corners might black out when you zoom out, if the hood is too short, then you might not get optimum shading. But if you know what you're doing, then it's fine to use anything, even your hands to shade when you shoot.
