Default newbie macros at SBG!

Hello! a couple of newbie macro shots at SBG with Tamron 90mm + Sb600.
Please give me some C&C and advise as well!

dragonfly! this was the closest i could get, it was resting on a lotus bud. and i wasnt able to focus onto its eyes..

No. 2 is peacock flower, (Caesalpinia pulcherrima).

Dragonfly one is OOF, try get the focus plane along the body of dragonfly.
Also increase f stop, make aperture smaller for more details, and SB600 will compensate with more flash.
