F80 body's leather peeling

ever since i bought my DSLR, this film gem has been sitting inside my drycab..

occasionally will take it out for a shoot but that has been really getting more rare these days..

recently i realised that my F80's body feels rather wierd.. got little bit of sticky feeling and seems to be peeling a bit..

is it because my dry cab not dry enough?

is there a way to "touch up" the skin?

hope to get some advise here.. thankks!

I'm facing the exact problem! Been in the sealed box for almost 4 years, with desiccant only. I remember reading somewhere that this is a sign of over-drying.

Guys, please justify.

Yes, it is over drying. Maybe u can send it to NSC to change the body leather.
