    Default Hi all

Hi all. I'm new to the forums.
I am now just using my handphone camera to take photos and am hoping to get a dslr as soon as I get to work in the upcoming holis.

Though I have my eye on some of the cameras already, what are some of the entry level dslrs that you guys recommend?

I'm looking at the EOS 450D, Olympus E-410/510, pentax K10D and Nikkon D60.

    Hello,

    Welcome to the big family.

You may want to consider the Sony A200/A350 too. I would suggest that you have some hands on to see which cam is more suitable for you as the handling, layout of the buttons & functions & interface is important.

It's not bout the camera, it's the person who uses it. I know some ppl using Mark III but shoots like crap.

    Hello! Welcome to the forums!

Apart from looking at the camera bodies, I suggest you take a look at the lenses too!

    The lenses are a long-term investment =p

Hence, the next time you change the camera body, you would want the lenses to be compatible with the new body!

Consider Pentax K200D too. It uses the same censor as K10D but it is lighter, simpler layout. Looking @ your choices, seems like you are looking for a entry level DSLR.

In short, K200D is the simplified version of K10D.
    Let's get rolling :)

Hi...Try playing around with some of this DSLR in camera shops.
Choose the one that feel best on your hand...Eg. button position, grip size, weight...

Only with the cam that you feel good...allow you to take good pics...

    Hope this help...

HI everyone... Im a proud owner of A300 and this is my 1st dslr camera.. Find in user friendly and pretty much easy to use for beginners like me.. and lucky for me.. got a friend to guide me on photography

But again.. it is all about getting a camera that easy to understand in order to get great pictures..

You may want to wait for the new Canon 1000D as an entry level DSLR.

Yeah, but the review vs. the A200 is not that stellar...
