AF 20mm f/2.8D vs AF 24mm f/2.8D
i seem to like both lenses. Yes i know its hard to find these lens but yet im hoping for a 2nd hand one (coz cant really afford first hand) Now tell me guys.. which of these lens are more versatile in both photojournalism and landscape/architecture. Give me the best answer coz im having headaches just to think of it too much. |

If I remember correctly, 14mm should be the one meeting your needs, although a BN is just as rare, if not more rare to come across. Not to mention the price that will make you go

go with the 20mm.
the 24mm has distortions that can be quite a pain. |

Are you using the above mentioned lenses on FX format btw? I assume you are.
I had the same dilemma and chose the 20mm. I can't comment on the 24mm. As for the 20mm gives very nice colours and contrast. Distortion is a bit too pronounced for a prime i feel. |

I have a 24mm.. not used much but its a good focal length for landscape and architecture. I cant remember much distortion on it.
20-35mm is good too buut its really big and heavy on the consumer bodies. |
