    Just brought the 580, when I tilt the flash head to more than 90 degree, the LCD "Zoom xx mm" did not show the figure?? is that normal???

    Although I'm using the 550, I believe the answer is Yes, it only shows when the head is pointing directly to the front.

    Yes, it's normal. I believe that when you do bounced-flash, the zoom head will be set to a standardised 35mm unless you change it.

    I often set it to 24mm when using diffuser or indoor bounce.
