When I feed my aro, it's always the top view, dun really have a chance to see it by the side. So I've taken some shots using a radio remote and a wireless flash.
Wanna share with you guys, Cheers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Your specimen looks like a juvenile golden x-back (~1yo)? im not sure... |

Thanks for your compliment
It's a high back RTG It's 2" when I bought it. Once it reaches 8", I feed only once a week to control it's size. Still looks young and aggressive.

Nice fish! But now how big already? How come want to control the size? If the appetite is good, I'd power feed to let it max out.

Yep, solely market prawns, no live food.
Yes, it has a very good appetite, can grow till 2 feet at a very rate if power feed everyday. But by then it's majestic and calm, not much thrill. Now it's around 14", I prefer aros between 12" to 18", more agile, lively and aggressive. ![]()

great shot. Would like to know your settings if possible. The wireless flash setup etc.
Level 6 rims are starting to have gold! Really quite a nice piece of highback RTG. Anyway, does it have slight PLJ? |

Beautiful creature. Good captures. Makes me want to get one as a pet.
