Looking for photograher for Birthday event

I am looking for a photographer/s for my son's 1st birthday party...
Event details..


Date of event 02/08/2008
Start of event - 1pm
End of event - 6/7pm

what is there on the event.?

1. Bouncy castle
2. Magician
3. Bubble Machine
4. Art station
5. Popcorn station

Event is catered especially for kids...A little hard to put on into words for you to understand..

Event will be done at a multi purpose hall..

U sure u need the numbers of hrs?
how many guest u invited? what's the time cut cake? cos the whole thing can finish in 2hrs, dun need so many hrs, cos will be shooting same thing over and over again.

I understand ur concern... I am inviting 250 guest.... Shooting is not the same thing... I don't think my kid will be doing the same thing over & over again.Kids are adventurous towards new toy/things.... Primary intention of engaging a photographer is for kid than my guests.. Btw since you request for my itinerary, why don't you submit to what i requested. IF you are the selected one, then i think i should share with you... else thanks for trying.


5-6 hrs is not the problem here...

Whoever is interested, just do as i request. Afterall, it not a free job.

My advise is up the budget if can, hire 2 photographers and 1 x videographer.

Cos thru my humble experience in shooting families and kids for 10 years, ur 5 to 6 hrs will tired the photographer. And i mean damn tired. I dun think any single photographer can do that con't 6 hrs without feeling damn tired.

And 5 to 6 hrs is a problem.

Chasing, capturing moments and knowing where to stand is experience, not just anyhow shoot. That's why i suggest videographer.

For those submitted, bring more batteries, as the venue is Multi Purpose Hall, ceiling very high.

I know that the task that i am deploying to the photographer is not an easy task.. That is why i emphasize that my kid is 1 years old only once in his lifetime.. Yes i have the intention of getting 2 photographers but i did not disclose. I prefer them not to be in the group so that i can get 2 different sets of picture of my kid. (yes different photographer have different way of shooting but if they so use to shooting together, they have similarities.) That's why i don't wish to disclose.

Abt the videographer, do u think its a little over doing? For now i think yes but if you can tell me some factors, then i can change my view...


Btw thanks for highlighting points to potential photograhers that will be deployed on that day...


I used to engaged photographers for some of my previous events, but the end results are not to my requirements or should i say satisfying. that is why i decide to open here so that i can fine choose my photographer.


Taking picture of kids is not an easy task.Especially when special moments is what you want to capture..

Hi mdm, i know that the getting the moment of your son is a task is diffuclt for a photographer to shoot but i may let you know that you can take a look at my website http://khooboy.spaces.live.com as a referance as i have been taking kids photo for quite somtimes and if you have speical requirement that you need, you can let me know as i am bring another photographer alone to cover that other side of the event ( she want to gain some experiennce on kids photography) you can email me the expectation of what you want, i'll try to meet up your expectation.

it is not a good idea to get two photographer not know each others all, in the end, either both of them fighting to get all the same shots, or each of them think another photographers should take the shot and nobody is taking the shots acturally, you want to get a pair of photographers, best is get them as a term, so you have less worry.
