Nikon Cutting Prices!

I was in Parasilk and they quote AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED at $2100 before GST. Not sure it is cutting across the board.

As I was saying in another thread... 16-85, 17-55, 14-24, 24-70, and the 70-200 were the lenses I heard that had a price drop.

confirmed theres a price adjustment, bought my 70-200 last week at a much lower price

I called two reliable shops for the price for Nikon 14-24, F2.8 4 days ago, they quoted $2450(with GST, cash)Is this the indicator of price dropping?

Isnt that the normal price? Haha, that's how much I was quoted months ago, same for the previously mentioned 24-70. Doesn't sound like a price drop to me...
