what is lomo cam

anyone has any idea can explain in err layman's term
what a lomo camera is??

what are its functions?

lomo is a russian made camera, and its lens has been acclaimed by its users for its colour and saturation. it has also a silent shutter which makes it ideal for spy use.

this is a shutter priority camera, which means you choose the aperture, frm f/2.8 to f/22 if im not wrong. there is also the aperture priority mode which sets the whole camera on auto.

other then this, you also have to guage the distance of your object, and the closest focusing dist is 0.7m if im not wrong, up to infinity.

film advance is manual, via a wheel which you will have to turn after each shot.

this is not a rangefinder as you dont have to focus, but rather belong to the 'cult' camera family like the Minox and Rollei 35.

shutter priority, means you choose aperture?? don't confuse me....
