[ FFSS Royal Canin Cat Show 08 ]

Nothing extraordinary from the many past ones I went to, so was there for only about 45min taking photos from two judging rounds. Most of the winners were the usual few so much so I know some of their owners. LOL...

This time however decided to adopt a new strategy of stationing myself at the judging rings instead of going cage to cage. The cats are bright in the open at the rings while it will be troublesome to shoot through their cages when they retire back after the judging. All shots taken without flash with the 50mm f/1.4 at f/2 usually. Cam set ot AWB although the hall was in warm light. PS-ed to make the colours look "less wrong" but do bare with the warmer hues.

Next time round, I will bring a flash (with diffuser) and set AWB to tungsten or whatever accordingly instead of letting the cam do the guesswork. Hope to meet up with some cat lovers for the next show be it by SCC or FFSS. Who on?

I think this is my best shot out of the 30+ I took. Still thinking of how to process the remainders but here it is the spectacular "local" cat - the Singapura.

Love this one alot!! Nice cat.... who would have been so cruel to cross an owl and a siamese... Opss Singapura Kuching!

OK I got fed up with correcting the colour casts so I did it the lazy man's way - convert to B&W. Here are the last 3 shots which I feel can still let people see. Hee...
