Default Pentax T-shirt?

I was a bit bored tonight so I came up with this.

Couldn't think of a catchphrase but the last line from the official T-shirt sounded nice. Welcoming yet with a hint of sarcasm directed at you-know-who..

Not sure if it would work on a T-shirt, what do you guys think? Would like some opinions on the design and whether you all are interested in getting a T-shirt done

As a side note, I think it looks quite spiffy as a car windscreen decal

May I add that the design was based on a K20D since it's our current flagship, although I tried to leave only the bare essence (such as the SR logo, DOF/power switch, the single dial and some of the sculpting) so those using the other models won't feel too left out!

As for the lens, I kept it generic because I couldn't decide which lens to feature with more than 24 million compatible lenses! If anyone would like to suggest any lens (FA*, DA* FA Ltd, DA Ltd, 50/1.4, SMC PENTAX-A 1:1.2 50Mm, or even the humble kit lens) you're more than welcome to

Erm, I make a living as a writer (copywriting and editing), so I guess I should chip in. :P

All for it!

I'll leave out the "Hey" though.. rest is good to go!

Nice... but i prefer just as simple black polo T with the red pentax word on the left chest and 2 smaller ones on each sleeves...

keep it simple... no point getting negative comments from "photography snobs"

anyway if really doing it, count me in, but can i design my own phrase ? and would prefer a good quality polo T instead of T shirt, dun mind paying more...

I'm in, do a poll?

Mmm. I think bulk order requires minimal no. of tees to be printed with the SAME design/copy. Not sure if it's economic to have a different wording for each tee. :P

The simple "Pentaxian" red-on-black is another good idea, but is it same as official tee? I saw some of the chaps wearing that in the last group outing shot - where to get from??

I wonder will there be any infringement of copyright if we use the Pentax logo? Min order of 25 pcs can be done.

I come out with a basic layout using a black polo-t shirt pic I found on the net.

IIRC, by right we can't use Pentax logo. Does Shriro makes Pentax tees for roadshows or PC show? Maybe can ask them help us make those.

Edit: I'll love to buy 2 for Aug SKC show^^

Hi Darrrrr,

If mass order of tee-shirt, count me in but I prefer nylon shirt (like silker and cooler) rather than 100%cotton (too bit warmer) due to humid all season in Singapore. What do you think?

I'm all for the t-shirts too. Maybe can get those dri-fir type. It is cooler and dries faster after you perspire too. Preference for collared T.

Perhaps a white version with the logo reversed out?

Why not play around with some catchy taglines/slogans:

for your precious moments (which is Pentax's official tagline)
SR- Why I don't get the shakes anymore...
See to believe...
Creativity redefined
All that you'll ever want. Or need, actually.

Also good to include the web address: PENTAXSLR.COM

Just some thoughts to add.

As for plain and simple design idea with just "Pentax" and red on black accents, it appeals too; I like simplicity. BUT it smacks too closely of being an official and corporate-like Pentax tee - like what a Pentax salesman at IT show - I imagine - would wear.

So I'll aye darrrrrrr (how many r's, man?)'s design instead.

Yup, will prefer dri-fit or other material suitable for our climate too.

Would have been cool to wear it during the recent A Very Special Walk Carnival!

Cheers!

Ideas:

1..
Pentaxian
Passion for photography

2..
Pentax
By photographers, for photographers

3..
I'm a Pentaxian
I'm a photographer

4..
Pentax
Photography

5..
Pentaxian
No snobs, only photographers

Can play with the colours, font sizes, layout too.. but this is not my area of expertise. :P
