I enjoy #1 and #3. Normally I wouldn't give street performers any thoughts, but the background make this shot interesting.
#3 imo, is the best of the lot due to it's contrasty background, and most importantly, gestures.

yup, orchard road really is a great place for street photography.. it can get too crowded on the weekends, but if you choose your scenes carefully, you can get great shots.

#2 and 9# are my favourites in this picture.
#i like the expression in #5 but pictorially it is a bit loose. In Orchard you have plenty of opportunities for a shot like #1..there are a lot of pictures and graphics moving around that can be pieced together. You can wait at every billboard and wait for something to fall into the frame and come out with dozens of pictures like that in #1....billboard and poster shots are fine but they requier a bit more creativity to stand out |

How far are you from your subjects? Won't they raise an eyebrow if they see your big cannon lens aiming at their direction?
