Tamron SP 20-40 performance

Hi all,

Just want to ask .. how's the Tamron SP 20-40 performance to similar Nikon .. ie .. AF 18-35 ?

Was thinking of buying one as a local camera shop is selling them cheap

[AU$ 250]
Hopefully they don't put a wrong price tag

Is it the Tamron 20-40 f/2.7-3.5(?) SP?

If it is A$250 is a good buy. The last know 2nd hand price is abt 600+ at TCW

Read somewhere that the colour is not as good as the nikon 18-35 on the net. This person actually used both but settle for the nikon eventually.

However, colour is subjective.
