You had the 50mm F1.0L ??
Anyway I also have the 50mm 1.8 Mk 1 which I bought for $90 in 1993 from TK. Code UC so it is now 20 years old. Keeping for sentimental reasons. |

ahh.. that's my only gripe with 50 1.8. horrid bokeh. so if mk1 is more or less the same apart from a simple distance scale and metal mount, its not worth the trouble finding one........
ymmv50 1.2 is slurp slurp but price also slurp slurp (for Canon staff.... when they collect their bonuses)

I got the F1.8 II not the MK2 version (Made in Malaysia) and use for normal portraits, quite sharp but not really good for moving target. I sold it off to fund my F1.4 , and really superb sharpness and much more better for moving target. Price is 4x F1.8. F1.2 and F1.0 is way out of my league....
