Hi Guys,

May I ask what types of slideshows software would you recommend for weddings? I am using Mac.

Thanks.

does it depend on how 'accurate' u want the slideshow? i.e. certain parts of the day with certain music etc.

Is Picasa available for mac? I use it and it's quite effective for just showing pictures and you can play music in the background...

bg slideshow? - iphoto should be sufficient.

slideshow video-type presentation? - although iphoto can do it with music, i would suggest doing it up into imovies instead, so that yo can have better control of the music, timings, and can even add textboxes, bubbles, etc... of course, if you have time to do all the editing. if you're going to be screening what happened in the morning, you would have limited time...

Thanks. The issue here is if I use iPhoto or iDVD or iMovie. Can they be published in the website or play in a XP or Vista environment? I know a lot of folks do not own a Mac and therefore might not be able to view easily even I had created it. I would need something that I could create the slides in Mac and then be able to convert to a "viewable" file in other OS (Vista or Windows). Not sure how can I do this? Appreciate any advice provided.
