Default Canon Users Coffee Session - Part III

Following the success of the first 2 gatherings, I would like to propose a 3rd meet up.

In this gathering, we can discuss about photography techniques, share knowledge and Q & A. Useful for newbies and those who want to know more about Canon system before making the purchases.

The emphasis is on photography (techniques, skills, FAQ, Canon system).

Further emphasis is on how to make the best of your Canon cameras, lenses, flash and accessories to achieve the results that you want.

I will extract some of the questions posted in Canon sub-forum for open discussion in every session. Sometimes, it is better to talk face-to-face to clarify any doubt, etc.

As for the logistics, I would need the following :

1) Tripod

2) Pan Head

3) Remote cable release

4) 17 inch Notebook with CS2 or DPP installed

Date : 18 July 2008, Friday
Time : 7 - 9 pm
Venue : Funan Centre 5th floor Food Court (gather at the red cushion seats area)

List

1) USM

Hi,

I am a newbie with a 40D and EFS 17-55 f2.8. Hope to learn more about the canon system from the experts here. Can I join in this session?
