Here's my humble set of photos taken in Taiwan during May. Really really love Taiwan a lot and wish I am still there. :P

Food We Had at Xi Men Ding
With our hotel situated just right in the middle of Xi Men Ding, food is fairly easy to find. Here are a selected few shots of the food we had.

#1 西门町之路边摊 - The mobiles stalls that are forever on the lookout for police! We were fairly amazed by the speed in which they 'disappear'. Hehez.


#2 鸭肉扁之鹅肉 - One of the recommended must-have in Taiwan: 鸭肉扁. However find it a tad-bit expensive as compared to other food found in Taiwan.

#4 三兄妹之雪花冰 - Another one of the recommended must-have! Their ice are really nice nice nice! Fruits are fresh too! You wouldn't get tired of eating from this place. :P

Mr.J義法廚房 (Mr.J French-Italian Restaurant)
Being a BIG fan of Jay Chou, I just had to drag my friends along to find this restaurant! I mean how can I miss out such a restaurant opened by Jay Chou if I call myself a fan! Hehz.

Great that you enjoyed the shots! No great setup there. Just my dear Sony A100 baby and my 18-70mm kit lens. Food shots were taken with 50F14.

Haha! Nah. Bringing portable lights around people might think I'm weird. And I don't wanna carry so much things around while touring! Shoulders get real tired. Food shots were all taken with 50F14. Most shots were taken with 18-70mm. :P

Hehez. The first shot he posted in his thread was me! And subsequently another one at Martyr's Shrine was me too. Hahaha! Four of us went to Taiwan together, hence the similarity in the shot. :P

淡水 + 渔人码头 (Tamshui + Fishermen's Wharf)
It was a really hot day that day! We were already sweating at Martyr's Shrine. Tamshui was worse. We all got quite charred after staying in the sun for the whole day.

台中日月潭之旅 (Trip to Sun Moon Lake)
The weather at Sun Moon Lake on our 4th day there was great, except for some rain and after that some light drizzling. It was so cooling and nice as compared to the really hot weather at Taipei the previous day. Actually the day we landed in Taiwan, the weather was great too. Taiwan's weather is really random huh.

#37 文武庙之年梯 - 365 (or maybe 366 if leap year is included?) steps with each step representing a date. Everyone will hang a wind-chime with their wishes on it along the step that signify their birthday. Really unique.

小人国 (Window on China, Taiwan)
Yet another hot day in Taipei! The place was rather empty except for some kids on excursion so it was good for us to take our time to walk around and taking photos. But we were really getting tired exploring such a big area in such a hot sun.
