Dear all,
any of you know places where i can rent nikon lenses/ miscellaneous equipment at reasonable prices? P.S- Camera Rental Centre seems to be rather popular, anyone recommend this / know any other rental firms? Thanks! |

Camera Rental Centre:- I rented 2 Nikon SB-800s speedlights and a 70-200 lense for 1 day's rate which was supposed to be $90 total, but after their bundle discount only came to $70. The equipment is used and not brand new, but working fine. The same guy who attended to me seemed pleasant enough. Place is easy to find and there is a public carpark behind their shop.
However remember to bring along your own AA batteries for your speedlights. I was slightly disappointed they didn't supply batteries, but at the low low cost of rental, it didn't bother me that much. Send them an email/call for quotes. They only need your NRIC and contact number to make a reservation, then bring your IC on the day. I paid by cash, but I'm not sure what the payment method would be if your quote is higher. It was the first time I've rented from them and it was totally painless, so I don't have any bad experiences to relate. |
