Default Manado 2008

Hi guys,

I've posted a slideshow on my manado trip on the underwater subforum because majority of the images are underwater. Anyway, here's the link again. With an extra image from the trip

thanks man

I used a Canon 20D + 17-40mm for my land images. For underwater images, Olympus C5060.

As for the slideshow, it's a combo. Bought a standalone player and modified it.

the shot works for me, and i like it.

however, it is a personal thing to not have any solid blocks of shadow with no detail unless it is silhouette, and strong one at that.

i'm thinking maybe a crop leaning towards the pano side might work better, at least for me here.

i enjoyed the slideshow though, and the bnw image with the seaweeds peeking through in the foreground, i like. thanks for sharing.

i remember your threads from a while back, please post more here, so that this one here can enjoy

good to see your thread again. as always, love your color palette. only wish such colors are as good on land as in the sea. i tend to go for simple composition and like the turtle in the blue the most

thanks zoosh! There were some nice moments where the turtle was in shallower waters and better light, but those were the times when I didn't have a camera with me... it ALWAYS happen

Haven't done a panoramic stitch for a long time. Here's one.

A panoramic view of Bunaken.

Nice set! My favorite is the pic posted on this thread... I love the background and calmness of the water.. It makes the viewer relax by just looking at the pic...
